Meet Lori!
Lori Amato is a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who has made a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals of all ages. Lori earned her Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from Seton Hall University School of Health and Medical Sciences in 2021. Since then, she has been on a mission to provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of speech and language disorders. Her extensive training and education have equipped her with the skills and knowledge necessary to address the unique needs of her diverse clientele.
With a warm and empathetic approach, Lori has focused her practice on aiding children and adults in their journey toward effective communication. Her areas of expertise encompass a broad spectrum of speech and language disorders, including receptive language disorders, expressive language disorders, articulation, phonological processing, voice, fluency, and pragmatic language disorders. She possesses a deep understanding of the challenges that individuals face and tailors her therapeutic techniques to suit each individual's needs.
Currently, Lori Amato continues to make a difference as an integral part of a public school system. Her role as a speech language pathologist allows her to work closely with students in grades pre-k-third, helping them unlock their full potential and succeed academically and socially. Through her work in the school setting, she has become adept at collaborating with other professionals parents, and continues to carry over her skills into her work with adults at The Therapy Garden.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Lori finds joy in pursuing her hobbies. She's an avid baker, using her creativity to whip up delicious treats that bring smiles to friends and family. Additionally, she recognizes the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and enjoys engaging in various forms of exercise to stay active and energized.
